Dear Friend, Let’s face it…life is difficult! With the pressures of school, sports, work, home, and figuring out where to fit in this world it can seem impossible to find direction for our lives. Allow me to clue you in on a big secret that you can learn now or years later - direction in this life can only be found in Jesus Christ. People try to find direction in other places but they always fail. That’s why the First Christian Church is committed to helping young people find direction in Jesus Christ. This is what the FCC Student Ministries is about… Our youth ministry exists to REACH non-believing students, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, to challenge the growing to DISCOVER their ministry, and to HONOR God with their lives. Ultimately, it is our goal for young people to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and to His Church. Once this choice has been made the pressures of school, sports, work, home, and fitting in seems secondary to the joy and comfort of belonging to a Kingdom that belongs to Him. The details of our future are never fully known but we place our faith in Christ knowing that He will take us to the best place we could possibly be. I hope you will come spend time with us so you can find direction in Jesus Christ our Lord.
